I am an honest and hardworking professional. I am very straight and to the point; no gimmicks, no fine print, and I always deliver. Even if you commission me for a single photo, a couple of hours, or an entire event, my rules are the same each and every time.
I am all about keeping it very simple. Let's break down the workflow:
If we meet because you have an event you want photographed, I will reserve your date for a week after our conversation. I do this as a courtesy to give you time to make an informed decision and to think of any follow-up questiosn you might have. I want you to be 100% comfortable with your decision!
My preferred method of initial contact is email. Visit my contact form to get in touch. After that I will write you or call you back, whatever your preference is!
I ask for a contract and deposit for any photography over three hours in duration. My contract is super painless! I will send it to you before we meet if you would like so you can review it. In these situations I also ask for a deposit of half the total cost up front.
I have lots of experience leading individuals and groups through a photo shoot. So don't worry about how to stand or what to do with your hands, I will help you with that. I always welcome any ideas or feedback that you have.
I take serious pride in my maticulous and professional editing techniques. I will take create liberty based on what I know you up front that you want to see. I welcome any suggestions as to how you want to see your photographs edited.
Within a couple of weeks of your session I will send you a link to view your photos online. This will be a password protected proofing site for you to view your images. You will be able to view large high resolution versions of each photograph. If you have any specific requests for a particular photo, you will be able to leave notes for further editing. Once you are happy with your images, you will give me a final thumbs up, and I will publish your final images and send you a download link.
I no longer sell photo prints. To make printing worth my time I have to charge stupid prices per image, and that is not a cool model. Printing is so inexpensive and readily available. I can recommend some great online printing companies if you would like. Your full quality print ready photographs will be on your DVD and ready to send to print.
I am all about simplicity. There are never any hidden fees or add-on costs. I have a very simple flat rate hourly cost and there is a one hour minimum for every session. The time starts when I start working (the pre-shoot briefing is never included in your paid time). See below for the cost and a list of what is included:
